Colloidal Oat is a Soothing Bath Soak
Colloidal oatmeal has been used as a natural bath soak for hundreds of years to soothe dry, itchy, irritated skin caused by conditions such as eczema, dermatitis, chickenpox, bug bites and nappy rash.
When used in a bath soak, the natural oat proteins leave a barrier on the skin that stops water loss and helps keep moisture in. A colloidal oat bath soak soothes itchiness by bringing the pH level of itchy skin back to normal.
This popular colloidal oat bath soak now comes with the option of added dried Kawakawa leaves!
Directions
- Add 2 tablespoons of Frankie Apothecary Colloidal Oat Soak to a warm bath and soak for 10 minutes (any longer could further dry out your skin)
- Pat skin dry
- For eczema or dermatitis affected skin, apply Kawakawa Balm within three minutes to lock in moisture
